Welcome

Hickory Nut Falls Family Campground is situated along the banks of the Rocky Broad River in Chimney Rock, North Carolina (25 miles southeast of Asheville). Our campground offers 84 level sites throughout our scenic and hilly terrain, providing a quiet, family environment for our guests. We have tent sites, RV sites with full hookups both riverside and in wooded areas. All sites have fire pits and picnic tables for your enjoyment.

Relax to the sights and sounds of the Rocky Broad River at one of our riverside tent or RV sites

We have clean shower/bathhouse facilities, laundry access and a covered pavilion on site. There is also a camp store which has snacks, ice, firewood, RV supplies and propane tank filling. On site activities include swimming and fishing in the river, hiking, horseshoes, and a playground for our younger campers.

Nearby attractions include Chimney Rock Park (1/4 mile east) and Lake Lure (one mile east) both offering beautiful scenery and family fun for everyone.

We are open April 1st - October 31st - please call for availability and reservations. MasterCard, Visa, and Discover accepted.
